Assessing the standard of care

Your expert reviews the original report or valuation, the surveyor’s terms of engagement and the condition of the property, then forms an opinion on whether the work met the standards set by the RICS. Where a failing is identified, the report explains what a reasonably competent surveyor should have found and reported.

Quantifying the loss

Establishing negligence is only half of a claim. Our valuers can also assess the diminution in value or cost of repair flowing from the error, giving your solicitor the figures needed to pursue or defend a claim.
